Yesterday’s live TELUS Canadian Championship Draw has delivered a story straight out of a Langley dream: Langley United has been drawn against our very own Vancouver FC in the opening round of the 2026 TELUS Canadian Championship.

LANGLEY, BC – January 15, 2026 – On the eve of its 100th anniversary and in the same year Canada prepares to host the FIFA World Cup, Langley United Soccer Association (LUSA) is set to make history. This Saturday, January 17, LUSA’s Men’s squad will discover their first-round opponent in the official draw for the 2026 TELUS Canadian Championship.

We’d love to invite you to join us on Sunday, June 15 at Willoughby Stadium for one of Vancouver FC’s biggest matches of the season—a special Father’s Day celebration marking the one-year countdown to the 2026 World Cup in Vancouver.

There’s something special building at Vancouver FC as we are now unbeaten in four straight matches and just knocked off their BC rivals Pacific FC in a dramatic penalty shootout to advance to the Quarter-finals of the 2025 TELUS Canadian Championship.
