Langley, BC – Langley United Soccer Club is proud to announce the appointment of Azad Palani as the Head Coach of our BC Premier League Men’s Program. Azad brings a wealth of experience from his work across the Lower Mainland and his current role as Assistant Coach with Canadian Premier League side Vancouver FC. Azad is currently pursuing his Canada Soccer A Licence, underscoring his commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in coaching.

On the women’s side, Chelsey Hannesson will lead the BC Premier League Women’s Program. Chelsey brings significant coaching expertise, having successfully coached at the BCPL level for multiple seasons. As a holder of the Canada Soccer A Licence, Chelsey embodies the high standards Langley United strives for in delivering elite opportunities for our players.

Langley United is proud to announce that Jag Gill has joined the BC Premier League Women’s team as Assistant Coach. A highly respected figure in the soccer community, Jag holds a CONCACAF B License and brings an expansive resume built on years of high-stakes competition. His 'Positive Football' coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in his distinguished career as a player and coach. Jag offers a unique perspective and we are excited to see the impact his knowledge, discipline, and passion will have on our players and the club as a whole.

Langley United is thrilled to announce the appointment of Farivar Torabias Assistant Coach for the Langley United BC Premier League Men’s team. Farivar brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, enhancing the club’s commitment to excellence on and off the field. As a dedicated soccer coach with a CONCACAF B License, Farivar’s impressive background includes extensive playing and coaching experience at both national and international levels. A former professional player, he competed in multiple countries worldwide, gaining a deep understanding of the game’s intricacies and nuances.


Milad Shahboudaghian joins the BC Premier League with over 17 years of elite coaching experience across professional, university, and high-performance youth levels. Currently a coach at Ares Football Academy and a veteran of League1 BC, Milad specializes in performance analysis and individualized development programs that have successfully moved players into the semi-professional and collegiate ranks. He holds a Canada Soccer C License and is pursuing his B License, supported by a degree in Physical Education and a background as a national university team captain. Known for his structured approach and leadership, Milad focuses on building confident, game-ready goalkeepers through professional standards and technical excellence.
