Langley United 2011 Girls Div 1 Set to Represent British Columbia at the Canada Soccer Toyota National Championships
LANGLEY, BC — Langley United Soccer Association (LUSA) is proud to announce that the Langley United 2011 Girls Division 1 team (LUSA TEAM DAY) will represent the club and the province of British Columbia at the prestigious Canada Soccer Toyota National Championships in Surrey, BC.
This milestone achievement comes on the heels of a dominant 12-month campaign. Following a remarkable fall season that saw the squad capture the league title, the team carried their momentum onto the provincial stage, crowning their run with a hard-fought BC Soccer Provincial Cup Championship. That provincial victory secured their official berth to compete against the country’s top provincial champions for the national crown.
The Toyota National Championships represent the pinnacle of youth club soccer in Canada, bringing together the nation's premier teams for a week of elite competition, national scouting, and athletic excellence.
"Earning the right to compete at the Toyota National Championships is a testament to the relentless work ethic, tactical discipline, and togetherness of this group," said Azad Palani, Assistant Technical Director of Langley United. "Winning both the league and the Provincial Cup demonstrated their quality and resilience. This group embodies the identity and values of Langley United, and we are incredibly proud to see them carry our crest onto the national stage."
The team’s journey highlights the strength of Langley United’s player development pathway, showcasing a brand of proactive, intelligent football built on technical composure and collective determination.
LUSA invites the entire community, families, and supporters to rally behind the 2011 Girls as they take the pitch to compete for the national title. All games will be played at Newton Athletic Park in Surrey, BC
